If you already purchased Azure Global service, you may need to be aware that there are some differences between Azure Global and Azure China. The below highlights the key three.
Azure Global users have multiple channels to purchase the service, including signing Enterprise Agreement / Cloud and Server Enrollment with Microsoft, Self-purchasing Online, purchasing thru Partners, etc. In China, there are two purchase programs, which are OSPA, Online Service Premium Agreement which can only be purchased by enterprise customers with pre-committed agreement, and OSSA, Online Service Standard Agreement for either individual or enterprise customers self-purchasing online.
Azure Global has three purchase options: Pay as You Go (PAYG), Monetary Commitment, and Azure Plans used to prepay for committed services. And, Azure China offers Pay-in-Advance (PIA) and Monetary Commitment models. Both OSSA and OPSA customers need to pay upfront before using the service.
