Due to Anti-Terrorism Law, the cloud service operators and online service providers have obligation to verify its partners’ or customers’ identification (“real-name authentication”) before rendering services. With that, below are the must-have materials when users sign up for Azure China service online.

• Local mobile phone number
• ID card (for individuals) or business license (for companies)

As the real-name authentication requirement, global partners need to have local entity based in China.

Aside from the real-name authentication, global partners need to hold different types of licenses or certifications based on your solutions or services provide to end customer.

For example, a website host case would require ICP license & filing.
