Create an new Partner Center account and publish in Azure China Marketplace

To publish your offers to Azure Marketplace(21Vianet’s commercial marketplace), you need start by submitting onboarding request through Azure China Marketplace, and you also need create a commercial marketplace account and enroll in commercial marketplace through a customized link of Partner Center. This article covers how to complete the steps. If you had an account in the China Cloud Partner Portal (CPP), we moved it to Partner Center. You don't need to create a new account. For more information,, see Publishers who moved from the Cloud Partner Portal.

Submit onboarding request in Azure China Marketplace Portal

Please go to https://market.azure.cn/sell/signup page and fill in your registration information carefully.

Contact information:

Including the contact full name, contact phone number and contact email address, please fill in truthfully. Please note that the contact information can only be viewed in the Azure service provider account, and each product/service released by the service provider needs to fill in the customer service support information separately.

Company Name:

The registered name of the company must be registered with a legal operating entity whose registered address is located in China. It needs to be the company name on the company's business license and cannot be filled in at will. This name will be reviewed by specialized legal personnel.

Company website:

The company website is a platform for the company to carry out website construction and image publicity on the Internet.

Unified Social Credit Code:

Note that the dual-soft certification number or organization code is different from the business license number. For details, please consult the relevant department of the company where the service provider is located.

Business License:

The scanned copy of the business license is one of the most important registration information. The scanned copy of the business license needs to be complete and clear, and can be uploaded in JPG or PNG format. The file size should not exceed 2M, otherwise the upload may fail. The scanned copy of the business license will be strictly reviewed by specialized personnel.

Confirm Submission:

Please carefully read the Azure China Marketplace Service Provider Agreement and select it, then click the "Submit" button and wait for the 21Vianet team to review and approved.

Click the customized of partner center link in the email you received once your onboarding request is approved by 21Vianet. To continue, make sure you meet the following prerequisites. We'll verify this information during the account creation process.

  • You must use a work account associated with your company or organization. Personal accounts aren't supported.

  • Know your company's legal business name, address, and primary contact. This person can be you.

  • You must have authority to sign legal agreements on your company's behalf.

Sign up with your work email address:

  • If you're new to Partner Center and don't have a Microsoft Cloud Partner Program account, follow the pages to enroll in Microsoft Cloud Partner Program.
  • If you're already enrolled in the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program, please use your Microsoft Cloud Partner Program account with Global Admin or Account Admin role to login.

Add new publishers to Azure China Marketplace:

  1. Login the customized link of Partner Center, click “+ Add Publisher” in the landing page
  2. Choose the PartnerID (formerly MPN ID) with the China address that you want to associate with the publisher.
  3. Update the Publisher details on the form.
    • Publisher location : Select the PartnerID you want to use for this new user.
    • Publisher name : The name that's displayed in the commercial marketplace with the offer.
    • PublisherID : An identifier that's used by Partner Center to uniquely identify the publisher. The default value for this field maps to an existing and unique Publisher ID in the system. Because the Publisher ID can't be reused, this field needs to be updated.
    • Contact information : Update the contact information when necessary.
  4. Select the Accept and continue check box and then select Save.

After you add a publisher, to work in the context of this account, you can switch to it using the account picker in the left navigation. Once you switch to this publisher account, you can assign appropriate user roles and permissions to your users, so they can have access to the commercial marketplace program on this publisher account.

Publishers who moved from the China Cloud Partner Portal

If you had a China Cloud Partner Portal account, we moved it to Partner Center and link with your MCPP (used to be called MPN) location ID with China address. You don't need to create a new Partner Center account. You should have received a link to your new Partner Center account both in email and in a banner notification after you signed in to your existing Cloud Partner Portal account.

After you login the Partner Center link and sign the commercial marketplace agreement (if not signed already), you can return to your account by going to the commercial marketplace dashboard in Partner Center.

Please note your user accounts and permissions are not moved to Partner Center, you will need ask your MCPP admin or global admin to add your user account and permission in Partner Center.
