Manage access to notebook features

As a workspace admin user, you can manage your users' access to notebook features as follows:

Downloading results from notebooks is enabled by default.

1. Go to the settings page.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Notebook results download toggle.

Workspace admins can enable or disable the ability for users to copy tabular data to the clipboard from results tables.

1. Go to the settings page.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Results table clipboard features toggle.

Workspace admins can enable or disable the ability to export notebooks from the workspace:

1. Go to the settings page.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Notebook exporting toggle.

Workspace admins can enable or disable the ability for users to download query results.

1. Go to the settings page.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the SQL results download toggle.

You can choose to store all interactive notebook results in the root storage of your cloud account, rather than the Databricks-managed control plane default location where some notebook command results are stored. For details and instructions, see Configure notebook result storage location.
