The China Cloud Partner Portal has transitioned to Partner Center. Partner Center offers a streamlined, integrated experience for publishing new offers to Azure Marketplace and for managing existing offers that were migrated from the China China Cloud Partner Portal. All the functions of the China China Cloud Partner Portal are available in Partner Center. This article addresses commonly asked questions about transitioning from the China China Cloud Partner Portal to Partner Center.

What does the transition to Partner Center mean for me?

You can continue doing business in Partner Center:

Area Changes
Account No need to create a new Partner Center account; you can use your existing MCPP admin account to sign in to Partner Center where you will now manage Azure China Marketplace account. You can find a publisher id with the same one in China Cloud Partner Portal in Account Settings > Legal Info > Developer Tab, which is your Azure China marketplace account.
Offer publishing and offer management experience We've moved your offer data from the China Cloud Partner Portal to Partner Center. You will now access your offers in Partner Center, which offers an improved user experience and intuitive interface. Learn how to Update existing offers in the commercial marketplace.
Availability of your offers in the commercial marketplace No changes. If your offer is live in the Azure China marketplace, it will continue to be live.
New purchases and deployments No changes. Your customers can continue purchasing and deploying your offers with no interruptions.
Analytics You can continue to monitor sales, evaluate performance, and optimize your offers in the commercial marketplace by viewing analytics in Partner Center. There are differences between how analytics reports display in CPP and Partner Center. For example, Seller Insights in CPP has an Orders & Usage tab that displays data for usage-based offers and non-usage-based offers, while in Partner Center the Orders page has a separate tab for SaaS Offers. Do I need to create a new account to manage my offers in Partner Center?

No, your account will be preserved. This means that if you're an existing partner, you can use your existing PC account credentials to sign in to Partner Center. Don't create a new account or any offers created in China Cloud Partner Portal and moved to Partner Center won't be associated with it.

Can I use my China Cloud Partner Portal login account to log in Partner Center?

No. Your China Cloud Partner Portal user account is not migrated to Partner Center. What's migrated is your publisher id and offers associated. The publisher id is migrated and linked with your existing MCPP ID with Chinese address.

How can I login Partner Center and access my Azure China Marketplace account?

Please login Partner Center using your existing Partner center login with MCPP Admin role. You can find your Azure China Marketplace account in Account Settings > Legal Info > Developer Tab. The one with the same publisher id as that in China Cloud Partner Portal is your Azure China Marketplace account.

Why I could not find my Azure China Marketplace account after login as MCPP admin in Partner Center.

Your Azure China Marketplace account has the same publisher id as the one in China Cloud Partner Portal. If you could not find it in Account Setting > Identifier, you can open a support ticket here.

I have multiple marketplace accounts, but why isn't Azure China Marketplace account listing in account picker?

It is because your login does not have permission in Azure China Marketplace. Marketplace owner or manager role can assign user role per https://learn.microsoft.com/partner-center/user-roles.

Can I create a new Azure China Marketplace account?

Yes, you can. But any offers created in China Cloud Partner Portal and moved to Partner Center won't be associated with it. Please submit a request through Azure China Marketplace.
